Join Matthew for an engaging study of the book of Deuteronomy as he explores its rich theology, literally artistry, and enduring message for today.
The book of Deuteronomy invites us to hear words of Moses as he prepares Israel to enter the Promised Land. In addition, the book’s major themes of covenant, faithfulness, obedience, worship, holiness, and the love of God, will be explored while also considering Deuteronomy’s significance for the rest of Scripture and its profound influence on the New Testament.
Matthew holds an M.A. in New Testament from Ashland Theological Seminary and has taught other classes at Shoreline, including the Gospel of John, the book of Job, Jonah, and the book of Hebrews.
This is an adult class for men & women
Cost : Free
The only book needed is The Bible for this class.
When: Every Sunday at 9am – 9:55am
