This Summer, Shoreline is offering a variety of “Summer Outreach Events” designed to combine practical life skills with Gospel-centered teaching and community building. These mini-camps and workshops provide a space for kids, students, and adults to grow their faith while mastering new hobbies and forming lasting friendships.

KNOWING YOUR CAR WORKSHOP

with Carl Anderson & Scott Harden

When: MAY 30th (Saturday)
Where: Shoreline Church 
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm

  • This workshop is open to students, prospective drivers, car drivers, and car enthusiasts.
  • Join us Saturday morning at Shoreline Church to get to know Scott and Carl and hopefully your own car better. Scott Harden runs Harden Auto Body in South Euclid and Carl Anderson runs Exceleration Auto in Mayfield.
  • Scott and Carl will talk us through some things we certainly need to know, steer us away from things maybe we shouldn’t do without a professional 🙂 and will share how God changed their lives beyond the car world. No matter where you are at on the car journey Scott and Carl will have good wisdom for you to better know and enjoy your ride.
  • There will be an interactive portion where we will pop open hoods and take a look.

CROSSOVER BASKETBALL CAMP

When:  JUNE 9th – 11th (Tuesday -Thursday)
Where: Andrews Osborne Graham Gymnasium
Time: 9:30am – 12:00pm
Ages : Students going into 2nd – 8th Grade  – FOR BOYS & GIRLS

Cost: $25.00 per camper

  • Join us for an exciting 3 days of basketball, skill-building, and fun. Crossover is led by Lacie Luketic, 8th grade head girl’s basketball coach at Willoughby South Middle School. Lacie is coming off a championship season coaching her 8th grade team at South. Lacie will be assisted by a knowledgeable basketball staff with varsity level playing experience. If you are ready to take your game to the next level you won’t want to miss this camp!

REALM OF THE REPTILE ENCOUNTER

When:  JUNE 20th (Saturday)
Where: Shoreline Church
Time: 9:30am – 11:30pm
Ages : Families with kids ages 5 and up 
Cost:  FREE

  • Families are invited to attend the Realm of the Reptile Encounter on, Saturday, June 20th from 9:45 am- 12:00 pm at Shoreline Church.  Christopher Evans, who is a part of the Shoreline community, is an Employee at Realm of the Reptile and is an animal expert. He will lead the event, offering a unique opportunity for families to get up close and personal with various animals. Attendees will have the opportunity to see various snakes, turtles, lizards, and other animals, learning about what makes each reptile unique in God’s Creation. After the show, each attendee will have the opportunity to touch a snake, a lizard, and a turtle, if they choose to do so.

SEWING CAMP

When:  JUNE 23rd (Tuesday)

Ages : 9-12 year olds (with an accompanied adult)

  • Caitlin Van Neil and Suzanne Carrigg are passionate about sewing
    and want to pass some of that on to you! Come learn some basic
    sewing skills while creating a fun plush toy. No prior sewing skills
    are needed for this one-day camp. All supplies will be provided.
    Although, students may bring their own sewing kit if they own one
    and prefer to use it.

WOODWORKING CAMP

  • Will Andler, the Industrial Arts – Wood Shop teacher at Memorial Middle school, will show you how to create a woodworking project that safely involves careful planning and using the right personal protective equipment.
    Scott Kennedy with share gospel centered teaching that helps you grow in your faith while growing in your skills.

LAKE COUNTY CAPTAINS FAITH NIGHT

  • Lake County Captains will be hosting  Faith Night on July 17th! This uplifting event brings together pastors, church groups, and some Captains players as they share inspiring stories and reflections on their personal faith journeys following the game. (This night they will be playing the Dayton Dragons)

LITTLE’S CAMP WITH DURBIE

  • Hands on fun and learning for parents/guardians and kids. No batteries, no screens. Come learn age-appropriate creative play to engage with kids!
