Update on Sunday Services
November 28, 2020
At this time, Shoreline Church is planning to continue holding in-person worship services on Sunday mornings at 10am. We are also currently planning to keep our toddler and preschool rooms open for Lake Kids, and we are still planning on holding a Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 6pm.
As we have prayed and thought through this decision as a leadership team, we are mindful of the scriptural directive to not give up the habit of meeting together. When we paused on meeting in-person in the spring, we realized how much we missed the grace of God in face-to-face fellowship during that time. Thankfully, we believe we have progressively learned how to gather together in safer ways and have also seen the blessing of offering different ways to participate in our services (like the livestream and radio broadcast in the Parking lot). We plan to proceed with in-person services understanding the reality of differing opinions, and are happy to think them through should anyone have questions.
We would also ask that as you participate in services please continue to follow these guidelines for gathering in-person.
Going forward, the elders and staff of Shoreline will continue to evaluate our current situation, paying special attention to COVID case numbers, hospitalization numbers, and any governmental mandates that are put in place. We will prayerfully evaluate things each week in regard to Sunday service and ministries. Should we make any changes we will let you know in a timely fashion via email, the website, and social media.
We appreciate your prayers and flexibility as we continue on in this time together.
